Find your public and local IP address

Google 'what is my IP' for public IP. For local IP: Windows - ipconfig, Mac - System Settings > Network.

Simply Google 'what is my IP' or visit whatismyip.com. Your public IP will be displayed.

💡This is the IP others see when you connect to the internet.

Open Command Prompt and type ipconfig. Look for 'IPv4 Address' under your network adapter.

💡Or go to Settings > Network > Properties to see your IP.

Go to System Settings > Network. Select your connection (Wi-Fi/Ethernet) and your IP is shown.

Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, tap your network name, and find IP Address in the details.

Public IP is your internet address (shared by all devices on your network). Local IP is your address within your home network.
